BUFFALO BOSS
Buffalo Boss began as a Brooklyn-based quick-service restaurant in October 2010, conceived and created by partners Jamar White and Ronald Lee. In 2012, they expanded with a branded concession stand in the high-profile Barclays Center and are now the official wings of the Brooklyn Nets. They serve fresh, hormone-free buffalo wings, chicken tenders, salads, wraps and a variety of other delicious chicken dishes. Their specialty is the acclaimed buffalo-style chicken wing. Customers choose from 12 award-winning secret sauce recipes and dry marinades that appeal to all palates and spice sensitivity levels, from sweet honey mustard to our infamous “InSINerator” hot sauce. They also offer an organic boneless chicken “wing,” made with tender white breast meat. Buffalo Boss brings a fresh approach to the buffalo wing market. Rejecting the typical “sports bar” feel often associated with buffalo wings, they strive to elevate the “wing experience” by creating an environment that is bright, energetic and fun.

Buffalo Boss to expand its reach and is currently opening its 5th location on the east coast and looking to launch its first Midwest location inside the Sherman Park Phoenix.

THE RIVERBEE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The RiverBee Redevelopment Project / Cream City Hostel is located at the nexus of two vibrant and culturally rich Milwaukee neighborhoods - Riverwest and Harambee. At the highly visible and accessible intersection of Center and Holton Streets, we propose a nearly $ 1million redevelopment of a former MPS school building that will become the Cream City Hostel, an iconic beacon welcoming local and international visitors alike to our friendly neighborhood lodging. River Bee/ Cream City Hostel will be a place for hospitality, fellowship, community gathering and a launching pad for discovery. The project will elevate these two neighborhoods as tourist destinations, delivering a unique traveler experience not currently available in the Milwaukee market, bringing visitors that will support local neighborhood businesses, and improving the local economy. The building project will be led by Juli Kaufmann / Fix Development a Riverwest resident and commercial real estate developer. The Cream City Hostel Ownership group is led by Carolyn Weber, Riverwest resident and Owner of Coast In Bikes (Walker’s Point), a local bike retail and repair shop. Both Juli and Carolyn have been past recipients of Fund Milwaukee investments.
